Interested in BDIC?

The best way to find out whether BDIC is right for you, is by meeting with one of our Peer Advisors. These are current BDIC majors who can discuss with you your ideas and goals for an individualized concentration and help you figure out whether BDIC is the right major for you.

Peer Advising hours:

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Or you can attend one of our Information Sessions that occur everyday. Click here for times for our information sessions.

The process for becoming a BDIC major starts with applying for admission to the required, 1-credit Proposal Writing Class (BDIC 396P). This class is where you will formulate the ideas for your BDIC concentration in detail.

Applications are due on November 15th for the Spring class and on April 10th for the Fall class.

Click here for the online application (BDIC PATHS). A UMass NetID is required to log in.
